Prayer Points
[Week of December 4, 2011]
2 Chronicles 7:14
If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.
This week, let us lift up this nation of America along with every nation of the world. Let us pray that the Lord will show mercy and will re-write the story of this nation; that he will stretch forth his hands of mercy and miracle upon the economy, that this nation and it's inhabitants will prosper in body, mind and soul (3 John 1:2).

Let us continue to lift up Mrs. Obama and their children in prayer. Let us pray that the Lord will strengthen Mrs. Obama and will equip her to play the role he has ordained for her to play in her husband’s life. Let us pray that the bond of love that the Lord has used to bind them together will never be broken. Let’s remember to lift up the children in prayer that they will never be preyed upon, that the Lord will cause them to excel among their peers.
Also please continue to pray that he will not lack any of the essential characteristics, as described in Isaiah 11, that will make him successful:
2 And the spirit of the LORD shall rest upon him, the spirit of wisdom and understanding, the spirit of counsel and might, the spirit of knowledge and of the fear of the LORD;
3 And shall make him of quick understanding in the fear of the LORD: and he shall not judge after the sight of his eyes, neither reprove after the hearing of his ears:
4 But with righteousness shall he judge the poor, and reprove with equity for the meek of the earth: and he shall smite the earth: with the rod of his mouth, and with the breath of his lips shall he slay the wicked.
5 And righteousness shall be the girdle of his loins, and faithfulness the girdle of his reins. (KJV)
